A Farewell To The Spring Garden Road Library

It’s hard to believe, but the Spring Garden Road Memorial Public Library is finally closing its doors for good on 30 August 2014! Before staff begin the big move to the new Halifax Central Library, Invisible Publishing and Stephanie Domet are inviting everyone to come out one last time to say a collective goodbye to the old branch.
We’re hosting a noon time event on Thursday 28 August to bid a public farewell to the old building and say thanks for the memories. Author Stephanie Domet will be reading from her award-winning first novel Homing, which features the branch prominently.
