Invisible Publishing is about sharing. We want to share the work of our authors with as many people as we possibly can. We want to find them new readers and new fans. We want to share an enthusiasm for Canadian literature, for a culture and tradition of innovation that we believe we’re a part of.
On Monday 7 October, we want to share something else. We want to share a short ebook with all of our readers, fans, and friends near and far.
If you come back here Monday you can have 3 of our favourite stories from Elisabeth de Mariaffi’s Scotiabank Giller Prize nominated collection, HOW TO GET ALONG WITH WOMEN.
We’re going to give away a short, DRM-free ebook to any and all takers. We’re going to invite you to read with us, to see what all the fuss is about. We’re doing this in advance of Tuesday’s Giller shortlist announcement. We’re doing it because we care about promoting a vibrant culture of reading and writing in Canada and beyond. Come what may, we think we’ve something to celebrate in these stories. We feel lucky to work with people like Elisabeth, to be in a position to take chances and publish books like HOW TO GET ALONG WITH WOMEN that are engaging, personal, dangerous, new.
We hope you’ll come back here Monday 7 October, download your free book, read with us, get hooked on something great, and join us in rooting for our friend Elisabeth de Mariaffi and her terrific title when the Giller judges reconvene next week.
