Monty Reid

Monty Reid is an Ottawa-based writer. His most recent books are Meditatio Placentae (Brick) and Garden (Chaudiere). Among his recent chapbooks are Seam (above/ground press) and The Nipple Variations (postghost press). A long-time museum professional, he was Managing Editor for Arc Poetry Magazine for many years and is presently the Director of VerseFest, Ottawa’s international poetry festival.
