CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Invisible Publishing is collecting personal essays about life in Prince Edward County, Ontario, by people who live in or have ties to PEC.
We’re looking for submissions that speak to the colour, character, history, and development of Prince Edward County. Have you been on a horn trip or danced at Lakeshore Lodge? Tell us about it! We want to hear from the people who are from The County, who’ve seen it change, who’ve been part of the change, and from people who moved here because of and/or in spite of the change.
This anthology is a chance to collect our thoughts about the place we live, the communities we’re building, and the reasons we call it home. You don’t have to live here to submit, but if PEC feels like home to you, we want your writing.
Please share this call for submissions with your network! It is important that this anthology reflect the true population of PEC. This collection can serve as a platform for voices and stories that are not often shared.
Submissions should be 500 words or less in length, and can be made online here or in person at the Books and Company front counter, 289 Main Street, Picton.
Include only one submission per person. Collaborative or co-authored pieces are welcomed, and count as “one person” as long as each author only submits the co-authored piece
What do you have to say about PEC? Get creative and submit your work!
DEADLINE FOR submissions
29 JUNE 2018
